About the Founder
AP Janmabhoomi was founded by Jayarama Rao Komati, an NRI who has lived in the United States for over 44 years and has remained deeply connected to his roots in Andhra Pradesh.
Over the years, Mr. Komati has actively served the Telugu diaspora by advising and supporting several Telugu organizations established in the United States, working toward the cultural, social, and community well-being of people of Telugu origin. His long-standing involvement with these organizations has given him valuable insight into community leadership, nonprofit governance, and the collective aspirations of NRIs to give back to their homeland.
Through decades of engagement with Telugu associations and community initiatives, Mr. Komati has developed a strong understanding of both global perspectives and grassroots challenges in Andhra Pradesh particularly in the areas of education and social equity. These experiences inspired him to establish AP Janmabhoomi as a structured, transparent, and impact-driven nonprofit organization focused on educating rural and underprivileged children and supporting holistic community development.
AP Janmabhoomi reflects the founder's enduring commitment to social responsibility, collaboration, and sustainable impact, while providing a trusted platform for NRIs to contribute meaningfully toward the progress of their Janmabhoomi.
