Marching forward on our vision, AP Janmabhoomi launches a new Anganwadi center in Nerellavalasa village under phase 2 of our initiative with the help of generous donations of NRIs.
On 5th August honorable HRD Minister Shri Ganta Srinivasarao garu inaugurated the Anganwadi preschool in Nerellavalasa Village of Bheemunipatnam Mandal in Visakhapatnam District with the NRI support though the ‘AP Janmabhoomi’ initiative.
Under the flagship social initiative of the Andhra Pradesh government AP Janmabhoomi has built many Digital Schools, Anganwadi centers and Crematoriums with the help of cost sharing policy between the state government and the NRI donors.
During the inauguration ceremony at Nerellavalasa Village of Bheemunipatnam Mandal the TANA President Satish Vemana, AP Janmabhoomi Advisor Garapati Prasad, TANA representatives Chalapathi, M.Ravi and village NRIs Shri Raja Surapaneni, Shri K.C.Chekuri were also present in the Anganwadi opening ceremony. These technologically enhanced Anganwadi preschools with varied learning material, playing kits and a television set are more likely to serve better than the conventional Anganwadi Centres.
AP Janmabhoomi has been working to restructure traditional Anganwadi centers by equipping them with digital aids. The project is scaling its reach to ensure maternal healthcare and early childhood care alongwith development of children. The project focuses on improving nutrition & healthcare among pre-school going kids and lactating & pregnant women.
The parents and the villagers have appreciated the selfless efforts put in by the TANA in inaugurating an advanced anganwadi preschool in their village.
